One essential aspect of managing patients with GI conditions is the assessment and monitoring of their symptoms and vital signs. This involves closely observing the patient’s gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, changes in bowel patterns, nausea, vomiting, and the presence of blood in stool or vomit. Additionally, I pay attention to vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and temperature to identify any signs of distress or complications.
I am skilled in performing physical assessments specific to the gastrointestinal system.
