As a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with over 5 years of experience in maternal-fetal medicine, I have extensive experience in managing cases of maternal gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD). This includes the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care of patients with molar pregnancy, choriocarcinoma, and other related disorders.

My approach to managing GTD cases is comprehensive and patient-centered. I begin by taking a thorough history and performing a physical examination to assess the patient’s symptoms and risk factors. I then order appropriate diagnostic tests, such as serum hCG levels, ultrasound, and/or biopsy, to confirm the diagnosis and determine the extent of the disease.
