During my time as a CNA, I have often been assigned to work closely with patients who require blood transfusions. My responsibilities in such cases include preparing the patient for the procedure, ensuring their comfort and safety, and assisting the registered nurse or phlebotomist in obtaining blood samples for cross-matching.
