In the NICU, we prioritize creating a nurturing environment that promotes optimal brain growth and development. We work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including neonatologists, pediatric neurologists, occupational therapists, and developmental specialists, to ensure that each infant’s specific neurodevelopmental needs are met.
One aspect of neonatal neurodevelopmental care that I have been involved in is providing developmental care to preterm infants.
